How Colin Jost feels about Pete Davidson leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Colin Jost is about to miss Pete Davidson saturday night live, ET’s Kevin Frazier spoke to the comedian, 40, on Thursday, and Jost weighed in on Davidson’s choice to leave the sketch series after seven seasons. Cast members Kate McKinnon, Eddie Bryant and Kyle Mooney likewise dropped out of the series after season 47.

Jost raves about the stars who won’t be back SNL, “It’s nice when your friends are in the same building you work in.”

As for who would replace Davidson and others, Jost told ET: “I don’t think anyone has thought of that yet. It’s our off-season equivalent… I haven’t thought.”

Instead of thinking about work, Jost is working on his golf game, as he was one of the celebs who descended on South Lake Tahoe this week for the American Century Championships, presented by American Century Investments.

While Jost’s wife Scarlett Johansson didn’t offer any tips for his golf game, she did give him some dressing advice and asked him some important questions.

,[She said], ‘Go home right after that. Why are you away for a whole week? Our kid’s almost you can’t go out for a week, ‘Things like that too,’ Jost joked to ET on the event.

Next month, Jost will turn his attention to himself and Johansson’s baby boy, Cosmo, who is ready to celebrate his first birthday. As for Jost’s plans for the milestone occasion, he quipped, “There’s a great reason you can make things happen at the party and he’ll never know it didn’t happen.”

“I’d be like, ‘Can you believe we got Billie Eilish on your first third birthday? Jost said. “He’ll never know. That’s great.”
