Mo is starting to let Perry in.
In the Sunday episode of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Mo (Alex Newell) begins to get excited about meeting his new love, Perry’s (David St. John) little boys, even though he doesn’t have a knack for kids. In the exclusive sneak peek for ET, Mo brings up the idea of possibly breaking the ice with Perry’s kids.
“I’m sorry I didn’t take your son’s stuffed animal crisis more seriously. I’m not a parent and I don’t always do well,” Mo apologizes.
“Okay, Mo,” says her fire inspector boyfriend.
“No it’s not, that’s why I’ve been in some serious training,” Mo says, revealing that he is now certified in CPR and is the father of a new pet hamster.
But then the real reason for their conversation emerges: “I’m going to perform this weekend at church and I thought it would be a good place to invite August and Amira to meet me, unless you think it’s too early,” he proposes. Mo. Will Perry allow it?
Earlier this season, Newell talked about exploring Mo’s love life in more depth in season 2.
“When I first got this role, I had a conversation with Philiana Ng Austin [Winsberg] and I really wanted to show this person who is not coined as someone who is a sexual being, someone who is not someone who dates. Like, this person was never considered that person. I really wanted to consider this person what person. He wanted to explore different relationships and we did that last season, “Newell told ET.” The testimony of showing that love or that infatuation or that kind of ‘right now’ relationship with Eddie was something that is real world for many people. . What comes, is what it is and then either continues or moves away and we will see where it goes. But I know we discussed it in a preview, but Mo is starting a new relationship with someone else in the future. “
