Yalitza Aparicio debuts as a singer along with Bob Marley’s son

The Mexican actress nominated for an Oscar for the film “Roma”, Yalitza Aparicio, continues to demonstrate her versatility. Now, the Oaxacan took the microphone to try her luck as a singer.

Yalitza Aparicio collaborated on the song “América Vibra”, a reggae song in which Ziggy Marley (son of Bob Marley), the Brazilian band Banda Natiruts, also participate.

“We don’t want walls, we are bridges,” Yalitza wrote on her Instagram, where she posted her new topic.

The song, which is performed in English, Portuguese and Spanish, invites Latin American countries to be united in the face of any adversity and above all, in the face of the current change in power in the United States.

At 27, Yalitza Aparicio has demonstrated her versatility as an activist, model, and presenter. Her great media significance has placed her as one of the most influential women in the world. She is even a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO).
