William Shatner to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

The famous actor William shatner, who is remembered primarily as Captain Kirk from the 1960s series, Star trek, was announced as part of the 2021 generation of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Every year the company recognizes wrestling figures who left their mark on the company, but it also usually recognizes celebrities who at some point participated with them. In this sense they have a celebrity section, where there are people like Mr. T, Pete Rose, Mike Tyson, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump among others.

To this list will be added William Shatner, who in 1995 had a small participation as part of the segment Jerry “The King” Lawler’s “King’s Court”. In addition to helping Bret “Hit Man” Hart in his fight against Jeff Jarret, where he beat up Road Dogg who tried to intervene.

Later, he was in charge of induct Jerry Lawler into the WWE Hall of Fame. In addition, in 2010 he had a special presentation, where he made a dramatic interpretation of the entrance songs of several wrestlers.

William Shatner will be part of this year’s ceremony; which will be broadcast on April 6. In addition, in this event the 2020 and 2021 classes will be inducted, since last year due to the pandemic it could not be carried out.
