‘Vanderpump Rules’ is already filming Season 9: First Look!

Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules you are well on your way. On Tuesday, Bravo confirmed that the show would return for a ninth season, and said production would resume next month, but it appears the show has already started filming. On Wednesday, Bravo released a first look at season 9 of the reality series on Instagram.

The clip shows a very pregnant Lala Kent and her fiancé Randall Emmett sitting with Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz.

“We made it. 37 weeks,” Lala says as she grabs her tummy. “I am so proud of my body.”

With Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, and Scheana Shay also welcoming the kids at the same time, Randall couldn’t help but wonder when and if Tom and Katie would be next.

“Let’s ask a question, are you trying?” Randall asks. “Because I don’t even know.”

“I thought once we stopped the doorman, it would happen like, right away,” Katie responds. The former “SUR-ver” suggests that her husband take a sperm test, but Tom insists that he is doing his part in the process of her pregnancy.

“I’ve been leaving the hot tub,” Tom assures her. Lala suggests that Tom sleep without pants to help boost productivity, but Tom’s co-owner Tom has reservations.

“I have an irrational fear that an owl will break through the wall,” he explains.

“Randall is a free player,” says Lala, always open.

Lala gave birth last month, so it looks like at least this scene was shot in late February or early March.

Tom, Katie and Lala will be joined by Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Maddix, Scheana, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss, who are returning for the show’s ninth season.

Last summer, Bravo and the producer behind the show, Evolution, fired their co-stars Stassi and Kristen Doute, citing a racially insensitive past incident the two had with their former co-star Faith Stowers. More of the show’s mainstays, Brittany and Jax Taylor, announced that they were parting ways with the show in December. The show has dropped to at least six cast members in season 9 (Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were also fired due to racist social media posts in the past). Dayna Kathan will also not be returning for the next season.
