Tristan Thompson is doing everything he can to fix things with his family.
In a preview of the upcoming final season of keeping up with the Kardashians, the 29-year-old NBA star sits down with Kim Kardashian West and asks for advice about his relationship with Khloe Kardashian. The on and off couple share a son, 2-year-old daughter True, while Tristan also has a 4-year-old son, Prince, with his ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig.
“Some days are good and others [Khloe] she gets a little frustrated with what’s going on with the media, “Tristan tells Kim, to which she replies,” I don’t even think it’s for her anymore, about how to get over the past things that you guys have been through. “
“I think it’s mostly what other people are going to think,” adds Kim. “I think it’s totally fine, otherwise I wouldn’t be with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
A source told ET earlier this month that Khloe has forgiven Tristan for his cheating scandals, most recently in February 2019 when reports surfaced that he kissed his sister, Kylie Jenner, now a former best friend, Jordyn Woods, 23 years old. At that time, Khloe and Tristan parted ways, but have since reconciled.
While talking to Kim, Tristan mentions how he and Khloé “will never make it to the finish” if she always tries to “please the masses.”
“So you just have to live for yourself. Like, yeah, he doesn’t give a damn if you like him or not, but guess what? He’s happy and he’ll do it his way and you will. Like it or not. no, “explains the Boston Celtics star. “You’re going to go on this journey any way you want, and people are going to be with you or against you, but at least if you die, you will die doing it your way.”
“That’s my mindset,” he continues. “Like, let’s do it. We’ll see what happens.”
In another preview of KUWTK which fell earlier this month, Tristan and Khloe discussed the idea of having another baby together.
“Every time I post a True video, [Kim] She sends me a direct message and says, ‘She can’t play alone her whole life,’ “the 36-year-old reality star tells Tristan.” In my head, when I was going to have children, I never imagined having an only child. Especially being quarantined with her, I felt bad. She had no friends. She had no one. They were isolated even from each other [True’s cousins] for a long time. I do not know. True is getting old and I feel like it’s time to have another child. “
Tristan seemed to agree to the plan, nodding his head enthusiastically and smiling as he said, “Yes. Mmmhmm. [That’s what] I like to listen. I’m totally for it. “
The last season of keeping up with the Kardashians premieres Thursday, March 18 at 8 pm ET / PT on E!
