The coronavirus pandemic has kept many families apart, including two sisters we all grew up with, Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley, who went more than six months without seeing each other in person.
ET’s Deidre Behar spoke to Tamera last October when she was very eager to reunite with her twin, Tia.
“I know for a fact that when we meet, we’re just going to cry,” Tamera said at the time.
When Behar ran into Tia, who was promoting the third season of her series, Family meetingasked if a family reunion had actually taken place between the Sister sister stars.
“Yes I did, I got to see my sister,” Tia happily shared with ET. He added that the meeting was “of course” filled with tears between the two.
“We were so happy to see each other, and we hadn’t seen each other in so long,” Tia admitted.
Tia is also excited to see the rest of her extended family.
“I haven’t been able to see my niece or nephew either, so we’re looking forward to [Easter] weekend so we can spend time with the whole family, “he added.
Tia shares her 9-year-old son Cree and 2-year-old daughter Cairo with her husband, Cory Hardrict. Tamera shares her 8-year-old son Aden and 5-year-old daughter Ariah with her husband, Adam Housley.
In addition to reuniting the family, Tia’s comedy, Family meeting, will round up some Real Housewives this season.
“Even before we started saying our lines and started acting, each of the girls came up to me and told me a few things about the other,” she shared about the Housewives drama. “And I was like, ‘Oh, okay, okay, oh wow, okay,’ and then the action. But it was so much fun. These girls are so professional. They are so good at acting. They were so wonderful, it was so much fun. . “
Family meeting Part 3 premieres April 5 on Netflix.
