They have hundreds of oversized boxes filled to the brim with household items: things like lamps, clocks, picture frames, plates, vases, wall art, books, shelves, pillows, flower pots, artificial flowers, coffee makers, chests, toys , glassware and more.

  • Admission only (no train ride) costs $ 7 for adults, $ 6 for seniors and military, and $ 5 for children ages 3-12. Children under 2 years old are free.

The North Carolina Transportation Museum will not be running its popular Polar Express this season, but it will host two holiday attractions, starting November 20, 2020. There is a daytime event, the Candy Cane Train, and an evening event, NC Transportation Museum at Lights: A Drive Thru Experience.

The drive-thru experience is 1.25 miles long.

Historic museum structures and vintage railway equipment will be part of the stage, shining like never before.

The Gift Station will be available, a great opportunity to support the museum and take care of your Christmas shopping at the same time.

You can take a photo with Santa (in a socially detached way) and enjoy s’mores at the Gift Station.

In addition, the farm is home to various animals, including extremely friendly mini horses and pigs.

There are also two playful kids on the farm!
