Televisa suspends Gonzalo Peña for accusation of being an accessory to rape

On Saturday we told you that actor Gonzalo Peña was accused of being an accessory to sexual abuse, and this Monday Televisa, the company he works for, announced that he will be suspended from the recordings in which he participates.

The complaint was made by the actress Daniela Berriel, who narrated that it happened a year ago in Acapulco and denounced that despite having made the complaint for more than a year, the authorities had not done anything about it.

According to the narration of Daniela, Eduardo “N” would have abused her, while the actor Gonzalo Peña was a witness and was kept in the same room all the time without preventing the crime.

The Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office reported that Eduardo was detained, however, Gonzalo Peña is still at large and Televisa announced that they will pause his recordings on the telenovela ¿Qué Le Pasa a mi Familia ?, of which he is currently a part.

We have heard the serious accusation made by Daniela Berriel on social networks. While, after an arrest, they have validated the Attorney General of the State of War and a local judge.

Given this, and in order to fully understand what happened, we are temporarily suspending the recordings of Gonzalo ‘N’ in one of our productions. Our solidarity and support for all women today, # 8M, and every day, ”says the Televisa community.

In What’s Happening to my Family ?, by Juan Osorio, Peña plays the antagonist. His character is Mariano, son of the first actress Daniela Bracho and his participation was contemplated in at least 15 chapters of the plot.
