During the First Contact Day virtual global event, Paramount + released the official trailer for season 4 of Star Trek: Discovery, which was hosted by series star Sonequa Martin-Green. The series will return to Paramount + later this year.

It’s official: Star Trek: Discovery returns for a fourth season.
Just one day after the launch of season 3, CBS All Access has renewed the series and has set a start date for filming in Toronto: Monday, November 2.
The news was announced Friday via a special video message from the Star Trek: Discovery cast and executive producers, including co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise, as well as Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones.
Martin-Green, who gave birth to a baby girl in July, expressed her excitement about reuniting with her co-stars for a new adventure. “Oh my gosh, I’m so excited to be back on set,” the actress said with a smile. “It’s going to be great to see everyone and I think we’re going to love each other. I’m so excited to bring you Season 4 and see Season 3! That’s what excites me.”
Jones revealed that he is looking forward to “reuniting with my family again.”
