Ross Mathews put a ring on him! On Tuesday, the 41-year-old TV personality revealed that she asked her boyfriend the question and that they are now engaged.
Mathews posted a sweet Instagram photo of himself with his new fiancé, who are smiling a lot and wearing rings on their left hands.
“Fiancé, stay!” Mathews captioned the photo. “I am very proud to announce that after more than a year together, navigating a pandemic, quarantine, and opposite shores, the smartest, funniest, and kindest man I have ever met said, ‘Yes!’ Dr. Garcia, I love you. A lifetime of adventure awaits me. 🥰 “.
In November 2018, Mathews and stylist Salvador Camarena parted ways after nearly 10 years together. In 2019, she dated Ryan Fogarty, a production assistant on the LeAnn Rimes tour.
In a conversation with Drew Barrymore on his CBS talk show, The Drew Barrymore show In October, Mathews shared that she began dating someone new in January 2020, although she did not mention Garcia by name. He noted that the two were able to maintain their romance amid the coronavirus pandemic by staying in constant contact despite the fact that Garcia is based in New York and based in Los Angeles.
“That’s why it has worked because we just liked having real conversations, and you know that in the first few months of dating you don’t talk much, usually,” she said.
Mathews spoke about their engagement on the latest episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
“About a year ago, I met someone who completely changed my life,” he said. “And his name is Dr. Wellington Garcia. And he’s an educator, and he’s funny, and he’s the smartest person I’ve ever met. And you know, Beyoncé says, ‘If you like him, then you should have put a ring on him.’ – well, I did. “
“I am the happiest man,” he continued. “I met someone so extraordinary.”
