Priyanka Chopra Jonas is still crazy about her husband Nick Jonas! The 38-year-old actress appeared on Thursday’s episode of The Last Show with Stephen Colbert, and revealed that the couple’s time in quarantine together only strengthened their bond.
“It’s great because we still like each other. That’s important,” she joked about her husband for two years. “We’ve both had such individual careers that I don’t think we would have had six months together, so that’s really a blessing. I was very happy to be able to spend that time together.”
When ET spoke to Nick, 28, in November, he expressed similar sentiments.
“The biggest advantage of all this has been that time at home, which Pri and I would not have had, if I had all this [not] it happened, despite how busy our schedules have been in recent years, “he said.” That has been an advantage, just for a while, to plant our roots. “
“I think the two of us also spend a lot of our time brainstorming. Having that kind of built-in support at home is amazing,” Nick continued. “In fact, we are also working together on various things, so it is kind of a family business at the moment.”
In August, Priyanka also spoke to ET about being quarantined amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I have to say that I feel very blessed to be in such a great place compared to so many people in the world,” she shared. “We are healthy, friends and family are healthy and I have had time to be really creative. So I have to say this has been a blessing.”
In addition to talking about her marriage in The late show, the White Tiger the actress spoke about the recent opening from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
“It was a very emotional time for many of my friends and family,” she said of Harris becoming the first female, African American and Asian vice president. “But coming from a country like India, which has seen various women in government, from prime ministers to presidents, welcome to the club, America.”
“It’s about time. I hope this isn’t the first. I hope it’s many, many,” Priyanka continued. “Because that’s what governance should look like. Leadership looks amazing, especially when it’s diverse and especially when it reflects what the world really is like.”
