PoeFest: A Free Online Community Festival for Kids
The Poe Center for Health Education is hosting its annual PoeFest online this year. PoeFest is a free online community festival for kids.
This festival is to help celebrate healthy choices. There will be interactive activities, giveaways, and more.
PoeFest: a free community festival
Poe Educators will broadcast live interactive activities on Saturday, November 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Interactive activities will cover a variety of fun and interactive topics, such as
- A healthy snack to make at home
- Drug Safety Activity
- Dental health fun
- Gardening activity
- A bicycle raffle: you enter the raffle when you register for the festival
- Bicycle helmet giveaway (while supplies last)
- Virtual community fair
- And more
Their interactive activities are designed to be followed from home, so they will provide festival kits to the first 50 registrants.
The kits include materials to follow the interactive activities from home and will be available for pickup at the Poe Center.
The kits and gift bags will be available at the Poe Center, 224 Sunnybrook Rd, Raleigh, NC, 27610.
They will be available to collect the
- Friday, November 13 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- And on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
If you lose those kits, you will still receive a goodie bag.
They will also be giving away bike helmets for kids when they come to pick up Poe supplies, while supplies last.
If you can’t go to Poe for a gift kit or bag, they’ll provide you with a supply list online before PoeFest starts. You can also attend the festival without following the activities.
