Miranda Lambert is not playing with her look for the 2021 GRAMMY.
Ahead of Sunday’s annual awards ceremony, the 37-year-old singer exclusively told ET that she plans to wear her outfit with a very steaming “accessory” – her husband, Brendan McLoughlin!
“I’m looking classy and sexy,” Lambert joked to ET’s Keltie Knight. “I have a very attractive dress and husband who has a very nice suit, so we’re good at it. I’m not really a princess.”
Lambert is nominated for three GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, including Best Country Song for her hit, “Bluebird,” which she will perform live with her band. When asked what fans can expect from the upcoming performance, Lambert said, “The set is beautiful.”
“It is very feminine and beautiful,” she shared. “Also, there is an energy with my band and I, because we haven’t played ‘Bluebird’, actually, since it was ‘Bluebird’. So we are very happy to be up there and play music. “
“I think ‘Bluebird’ came at a really crazy time. I think the message of the song, it’s obvious that we would never have known what we were writing when we wrote it,” he continued. “But when it became a single, it was like the beginning of 2020. So I think it was kind of a beacon of a song of hope for people. It was for us, so I’m really grateful that it came out.” when he did it, and it helped people with something. “
Lambert added that she is also very grateful for the opportunity to act again, after a year of putting everything on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“I think all [GRAMMY] the artists have a little more gratitude and are grateful, “he explained.” When you’re forced to miss out on what you love to do, it’s like we’ll never take it for granted again. We’ve all missed him so much and miss the fans. I’ve missed the fans this year, sure, but at least I’m glad we can be home with them on GRAMMY day. “
In addition to Lambert, stars like Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion will take the stage to perform on Sunday.
