Jess Mariano, is that you? Actor Milo Ventimiglia has done and kept his thing Gilmore Girls fan art, but it’s probably not what you expected.
The 43-year-old actor, who played Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) former bad boy Jess, in both the original series and the Netflix revival, A year in the life, appeared in Tonight’s Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday where Gilmore Super fan Fallon pointed out an interesting sign hanging behind the actor in the Zoom interview.
“It says I Love Dean 4 Ever. And that’s the certificate you get when you’re nominated for an Emmy,” Ventimiglia explained, showing where she had put her home sign.
“Is that rubbing it on your face?” Fallon asked about the location.
“No, no, not at all. Jared [Padalecki] and I’m really good friends and I made the sign for a photograph that someone was looking for online or something like that, “shared the actor.” I made the sign and after I did, I just said, let me keep this because this is great, and I literally pasted it right into my Emmy notification that was on the wall. ”
Ventimiglia has been candid about being the Dean of the Team in the past. In 2015 Gilmore Girls meeting panel at the ATX TV Festival, he shared: “I’ve always been Team Dean. Logan [Matt Czuchry] he was an idiot. ”
During his Tonight’s show Ventimiglia also spoke about filming her NBC family drama, We are, with his on-screen wife, Mandy Moore, who welcomed a baby in late February.
“It’s exciting. Baby Gus was on set last week,” shared Ventimiglia. “It was exciting to see her as a mom. We have been playing parenting for so long, but she is a mom. She is a real mom.”
