Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa are getting hot and heavy! The two superstars collaborated on the new single, “Prisoner,” released Thursday.
In the accompanying music video, Miley and Dua don’t stop: they party, smoke, rock, and get hot and heavy while covered in what appears to be fake blood and cherries.
Dressed as rock stars, the two sing along as they sing the lyrics. At one point, Cyrus appears to bite a giant creepy bug!
Eagle-eyed fans also saw kama sutra dice on the clip.
Women also seem to be sending their exes a message when the words, “In loving memory of all my exes. Come Sh **” are displayed in neon letters at the end of the video.
“EVERYWHERE NOW!” Cyrus tweeted excitedly along with a number of emojis.
Dua also shared the video on Twitter. “PRISONER @MileyCyrus. OUT NOW,” he wrote. “⛓ GREAT LOVE TO THE WHOLE GANG THAT HELPED PUT THIS TOGETHER DIRECTED BY ALANA O’HERLIHY + MILEY / ⛓.”
“Prisoner” is the second single from Cyrus’ seventh studio album, Plastic hearts, on sale November 27 on RCA Records
The two had been teasing their collaboration all week, sharing intense teasers on their social media.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Cyrus shared that what he loved about working with Dua was her spirit of trust and collaboration and the lack of competition. He added that the two strove to produce a song “that honors our individuality.”
“Some people’s charisma is really overwhelming,” Cyrus said in the interview, which will premiere Monday at 12:30 pm ET on Apple Music 1. “I see, when Dua is around, that her charisma, there is no sense at all. from desperation to is like, ‘I have to be the best because if I’m not and if …’ There’s a calm to his success, which I really like. “
ET spoke with Dua last month about her experience working with Miley.
“I love her. She is really funny and her energy is unmatched,” said the British singer. “We had a great time shooting this music video. It’s fun, it’s fun. I feel like it’s the perfect combination of the two.”
