Lori Loughlin goes to prison to serve her sentence for college bribery

Lori Loughlin, actress of Full House (Three for three) was reported to a California federal prison on Friday. He will begin serving his two-month sentence for college bribery, authorities said. According to information from Us, her husband Mossimo Giannulli accompanied her as she delivered herself to serve her sentence.

The federal prosecutor’s office in Boston said Loughlin was being processed in federal prison in Dublin, California.

Lori Loughlin won’t seek an early release

In August, Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison. Meanwhile her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, got five months. The two were found guilty of paying half a million dollars in bribes. This was so that his two daughters (Bella, 21, and Olivia Jade, 20), would be admitted to the University of Southern California as part of the rowing team. None of them practiced that sport.

“The parties recently agreed that the defendant could report to prison on October 30, 2020, instead of November 19, 2020. The defendant also agreed that, during her two-month sentence, she will not seek early release from prison on grounds related to COVID, ”the prosecutor said in a statement.

Loughlin and her husband will serve short sentences

Loughlin, 55, and Giannulli, 56, pleaded guilty in May and agreed to serve short sentences.

Loughlin’s deal includes two months in prison, two years of probation with 100 hours of community service and a $ 150,000 fine. Giannulli was sentenced to five months in prison, two years of probation, will serve 250 hours of community service and pay a fine of $ 250,000.

Another actress who served time in prison for a similar charge was Felicity Huffman. She served an 11 day sentence in October 2019.
