Leslie Odom Jr. and his wife, actress Nicolette Robinson, welcomed their second child together. Thursday, the Hamilton Star announced that Robinson gave birth to their son, Able Phineas, a week ago.
Odom Jr. shared adorable images on Instagram of the latest addition to his family, including his daughter, Lucy, holding her baby brother while wearing a tiara. He announced that he and his wife were expecting their second child together in November.
“More life! A whole week with our Abe,” wrote the 39-year-old Broadway star. “Seeing Nicolette give birth to these children …? Simply the bravest acts I have ever witnessed from a foot away. I love you, darling and am in awe. Our little family explodes with joy! And gratitude. “
“Talk Phineas 03/25/21 ♥ ️ More life,” he concluded.
ET spoke to Odom Jr. in March about his exciting Oscar nominations this year. He is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Sam Cooke in One night in Miami and Original song for performing and co-writing “Speak Now” from the film. During the interview, he noted how close his wife was to her due date.
“Look, I have to go in and check if she hasn’t gone into labor right now,” he joked. “Like, we’re like that. It’s any second!”
