Yalitza Aparicio takes her fashion game to the Latin GRAMMY Awards. the Rome The star, who hosted the ceremony with singer Carlos Rivera and TV host Ana Brenda, wowed on the red carpet in a stunning fuchsia look Thursday.
Aparicio, 26, wore a striking two-piece outfit from Helo Rocha, with matching pants and a blouse. She paired her look with Pomellato jewelry and silver platform heels from Altuzarra.
The Oscar-nominated actress said at a press conference ahead of Thursday’s awards show that she was eager to wear Latino designers.
“For this occasion, I am very happy because we will be able to exhibit many Latinx designers, which I think is very important. We have to take advantage of this moment and show the talent that these Latinx designers have,” he shared.
Aparicio already went through a costume change before the show. She shared a photo of her pre-Latin GRAMMY look of Johanna Ortiz on Instagram.
His Helo Rocha outfit was for the carpet only, as Aparicio donned a Vitor Zerbinato dress when the show began.
That was just the first of several changes to the show, as Aparicio lit things up at Carolina Herrera and a custom House of Lilac headdress.
Backstage she also shone in a stunning yellow Silvia Tcherassi dress that featured a double ruffle hem.
Her last look of the night was a sparkly blue minidress that completed her sensational night as a co-host.
