Lana Condor had a busy Valentine’s weekend, so we can’t totally blame her boyfriend, Anthony De La Torre, for forgetting about the romantic vacation, right?
During an appearance in The show tonight Last week, Condor told host Jimmy Fallon that De La Torre “really forgot” about the vacation amid the excitement of the third and final installment of the TATB franchise, To all the boys: always and forever, which premiered on Netflix last Friday.
“I mentioned Anthony the other day, I said, ‘Hey, honey. Like it’s kinda cute. Like Valentine’s Day is coming up too soon. Like, this weekend,'” she told Fallon about the premiere of the film coinciding with the Valentine’s Holiday Weekend.
“And he really forgot,” Condor revealed. “I didn’t really remember. There was nothing there. He was like, ‘Uh, oh. No, no, no.’
“So yeah. When you asked me if I had any plans, I felt like I probably didn’t,” Condor added with a smile.
Fallon prompted De La Torre to meet up before Sunday, and it seemed like he listened, writing this sweet message to his longtime girlfriend on Instagram on Sunday.
“Lana, you have never been more beautiful than you are now. Not only have you not changed over the course of the last 3 years, but the best aspects of you have only grown. You deserve this and so much more. You are the hardest worker in the world. room. Seeing how much he has dedicated to his work in recent years has inspired me more than I ever imagine. Now is the time to relax and do nothing for a few days 😍 I love you. Thanks to @ncentineo for being the perfect PK to Lanas LJ and just for being a nice guy. I’m so happy and grateful for you man 💙 Thanks to all the To All The Boys fans. It’s been a beautiful thing to see. The person I love has made his dreams come true. Despite this little slip, Condor admits that her boyfriend of five years does sweet things for her every day.
“Anthony, every night or every morning, he folds my pajamas and tucks them under my pillow so I don’t have to go looking for them,” Condor revealed in the February issue of Oneself. “For me, that is the greatest expression of love. That is much better than, I don’t know, a hot air balloon.”
It’s sweet moments like this that make Condor call their relationship incredible, so incredible in fact that he looks forward to wedding bells in the future. ET spoke to him TATB star in September where she revealed that she is looking forward to a proposal from her longtime boyfriend.
“I literally told him the other day, ‘Listen, boy … we’ve been together for five years. We have a house, we have a dog, we have a car, okay? You better put a ring on it,'” she said . “I always say, ‘I’m a hot product!’ Hopefully, but we’ll see. “
