Kelly Osbourne is opening up about a recent struggle on her sobriety journey. The 36-year-old television personality took to his Instagram Stories Monday to share with his followers that he had relapsed after nearly four years of sobriety.
“It’s a little difficult for me to talk about this, but I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I am and what is happening on my road to recovery,” Osbourne began before sharing. I relapsed. I am not proud of it. But I’m back to normal. “
First Fashion police Star shared that she would open up even more about the topic in an upcoming podcast. It’s unclear if Osbourne will appear on another podcast or if he will discuss the issue at the May 4 premiere of his upcoming podcast. The Kelly Osbourne and Jeff Beacher Show.
“I just want you to know that I’m sober today. And I’ll be sober tomorrow,” she continued smiling. “But I’ve learned that it’s really only one day at a time. And I just want to tell you the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you. Thank you so much for your support and your love.”
Osbourne has spoken about his sobriety several times over the years. In May 2019, it was opened to the British chat show, Lorraine, on the decision to be sober in 2017.
“I’m (in a great place). I’ve been sober for almost two years and it has completely changed my life,” she shared at the time. “I didn’t think I could do anything if I wasn’t drunk or high, because I was scared of everything. I let it get over me.”
Osbourne has spent several seasons in rehab, which he documented in his 2017 memoirs, There ain’t no fucking secret.
