Kelly Dodd is clarifying her recent drama with Lisa Vanderpump. The True Orange County Housewives star called to Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on Monday to give his side of the story when it comes to closing down Vanderpump’s claim that he once left his restaurant, Pump, without paying the bill. Vanderpump has since apologized.
Last week, the 60-year-old Vanderpump claimed his E! Show, Attended, what a Real housewives Star had been kicked out of his restaurant after eating dinner and running. After Tori Spelling, a guest on the episode, assumed it was 45-year-old Dodd, Vanderpump replied, “Yeah, he walked into Pump and didn’t pay a bill.”
In the now-deleted tweets, Dodd not only denied failing to pay, but also showed a receipt that he claimed was from that night in 2016 as proof that he paid his share of the bill. Dodd spoke further about the incident with Lewis on Monday, noting that she was with fellow housewife Vicki Gunvalson at the time, whom he called “the cheapest girl on Earth.” She claimed that earlier in the day she paid a $ 575 bill at The Abbey bar, even though it was Gunvalson and her friend who ordered “much more.” So when they got to Pump, Dodd asked the waiter for a separate bill because he didn’t want to keep another huge bill.
“I’m not cheap at all,” she said. “But in this case, I’m with a bunch of cheap old bitches. I’m going to, you know, pay my own bill.”
Dodd said the waiter was upset with her because he wanted a separate bill, and then he went to Twitter and claimed that she stiffened him. But Dodd said he actually tipped her and it was the “old bitches” who didn’t.
Dodd said she cleared up the whole incident with Bravo years ago and was upset that she was getting all the heat and not Gunvalson. She said she took to Twitter over the weekend to clear her name and was ultimately grateful that Vanderpump apologized to her.
Over the weekend, Dodd not only denied failing to pay his Pump bill, but also investigated that Vanderpump closed one of its restaurants, Villa Blanca, last July.
“THIS IS A LIE,” Dodd wrote. “A) It was 6 years ago. B) I was a guest of [Vicki Gunvalson] & his friends. C) I paid my share and I have the receipt. It was the others who did not pay! No wonder Villa Blanca went under. #RevisionistHistory “.
“Oh and by the way @LisaVanderpump, your food sucks and so does your service,” he continued.
Vanderpump later apologized in the same Twitter thread.
“God, of course, they told me there was a problem and you didn’t pay,” he wrote. “I was out, but of course, whatever you say … I apologize if there was such a fiasco and I apologize on behalf of my entire staff.” . I would love to host you. “
Dodd responded, “Thank you for your apology. I’m confused why you would say I was banned when, in fact, I was the subject of false and libelous accusations and clarified this five years ago. I would appreciate a post on your feeds to clarify this.”
Although Vanderpump did not publish a post, he did reply: “I heard it was a complete fiasco, but I am sorry that you will be a guest of honor if you come next time.”
ET spoke to Vanderpump earlier this month, and she discussed whether she would have the women of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Attended as guests and when Vanderpump Rules To return to. Watch the video below to learn more.
