Katy Perry didn’t hold back on Sunday american idol when contestant Cassandra Coleman took the stage.
The red-haired performer gave a solo performance of Sigma’s song, “Find Me,” before duetting OneRepublic’s “Apologize” with the band’s leader, Ryan Tedder himself.
Although judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan warned Cassandra to watch her “nerves” on stage, 36-year-old Katy couldn’t help but gush about it. Idol hopeful.
“Your voice is a spiritual experience,” declared the Firework singer. “He is angelic from another world.”
She continued to be candid about her grooming routine as a new mom to her daughter Daisy.
“As a new mom, I haven’t had much time, so I stopped shaving my legs, but when you were singing, the hair on my legs grew an inch and a half,” Katy joked as her fellow judges poked their heads into their hands. “Chills all over my body. It was amazing!”
He later tweeted a GIF of a pair of legs growing hair and wrote: “A real live look at my leg hair as I listen to @casscoleman sing #AmericanIdol.”
Last month, Perry opened up to ET about being a new mom.
“Motherhood makes you feel powerful, but it also makes you feel vulnerable,” she admitted at the time.
