This Wednesday is a sad day for all Internet lovers, since the death of Juan Joya Borja, a Spanish comedian, was confirmed, who became known around the world for being the viral meme known as “El Risitas”.
Borja, who was 65 years old, died at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital, in Seville, Spain, where he was transferred from another hospital, after a sudden relapse of his illness.
Actor and comedian became famous between 2014 and 2015, during his appearances on the shows The Wanderer Y Colored Mice, where he recounted his experiences along with “El Peíto”.
His laugh, which was easily transmitted, made him become a viral meme for which Juan Joya Borja, “El Risitas”, will always be remembered.

Borja fell ill in 2020 and the Spanish celebrity had been in the hospital since September.
In September, it was announced that Borja had to have a limb amputated and, unfortunately, he died on April 28.
“El Risitas” appeared in the programs of Jesus Quintero, Spanish journalist and presenter, as well as in the film Torrente 3: The Protector.
According to Spanish media, Borja suffered from diabetes.
