Jason Sudeikis keeps his looks fresh while racking up awards. The Ted lasso The star took home a SAG award on Sunday and sported a new sweater that really caught people’s attention.
The Saturday night live The student has made headlines for his awards season wardrobe, first sporting a tie-dye hoodie at the Golden Globes, but swapped things out for a different and more meaningful fashion statement on Sunday.
When he accepted the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Ted Lasso, Sudeikis wore a dark sweater with large white letters that read “My Body My Choice.”
The new sweater and its sentiment caught a lot of attention from fans who were watching it at home and commenting online.
Sudeikis also teased his own Golden Globes hoodie at the SAG awards. Ted lesso-based on the opening sketch, in which he portrayed his award-winning character.
The sketch took place in the team’s locker room, where one of the players appears, sporting Sudeikis’ now famous tie-dye look.
Meanwhile, Sudeikis acceptance speech also earned him a lot of love, as he showed a humble side and expressed a lot of gratitude for those who helped him in his life.
“Thank you to all my fellow actors, men and women,” he shared, after being named the winner. “That means a lot to me, really, really. It’s very, very flattering, very humiliating.”
He also thanks his parents, for fostering his life of arts and acting, with his mother “taking me to plays and musicals … every time they came,” and his father taking him to the movies as a child.
