Game of Thrones: tweet ignites remake rumors

A tweet posted on April 14 on the HBO series account, Game of Thrones, sparked rumors about conducting a remake about the eighth season of the series.

“Winter is coming” (“Winter is on the way”, in Spanish) was the tweet published on the account of the series that generated all kinds of reactions and speculation among fans.

Game of Thrones remake?

A remake of the eighth season is more a wish of the fans than a possible reality, as many were dissatisfied with the way the series ended.

The only thing that HBO has confirmed is the realization of a prequel based on the Targaryen dynasty that will be called House of dragon (House of the Dragon).

The new series based on the universe of books written by George RR Martin will be an adaptation of the novel Fire and blood from the author.

House of dragon unfolds 300 years before the timeline of Game of Thrones and tells the story of the powerful ancestors of Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, who ride dragons and can certainly intuitively communicate with them.


HBO has already announced the cast of House of dragon, in whose production the same author of the books will participate.

Within the actors and actresses of House of dragon meet Paddy Considine from The Outsider; Olivia Cooke from Ready Player One; Emma D’Arcy from Truth Seekers, Matt Smith of The Crown and many more.


Fans unhappy with the end of Game of Thrones they will have to wait for the author of the books to finish the last two volumes of the saga that develop the events of the last seasons of the successful and millionaire HBO production.

Game of Thrones is based on a series of books called Song of ice and fire whose volumes so far are Game of Thrones, Clash of Kings, Storm of Swords, Feast for Crows Y Dance of dragons.

The last two volumes Winter Winds Y Spring dreama, which are being written by George RR Martin.
