Extreme sisters Brittany and Briana, they doubled up on everything, so it’s no wonder these twins had a double wedding when they married their twin husbands. The show, which opens this Sunday, will follow five of the “most obsessive and inseparable sibling relationships” between five groups of sisters, including Brittany and Briana. The TLC stars spoke to ET about their wedding ceremony and what it has been like to all live together with their new spouses.
“We had already appeared in TLC’s Our twin wedding when we had our double wedding to Josh and Jeremy. So we were already acquaintances and we had the opportunity to be on this new show that explores what happened after the wedding, “shared Briana.
These sisters not only got married at the same time, they also ended up pregnant at the same time.
“Little did we know that shortly after our double wedding, we would become pregnant at the same time,” added Briana. “Both couples were expecting a baby, so this show allows us to share that story with the world.”
Brittany and Josh’s 5-month-old baby Jett and Briana and Jeremy’s almost 1-month-old baby Jax are considered multiple quaternaries, meaning they are full genetic siblings of identical twin parents.
For these couples living under one roof, it is more of a family unit than two separate families sharing a home.
“I feel like I’m Jett’s father. And I think he feels the same about Jax,” Jeremy said. “We all live together and we are raising the children together. It feels like a family unit, not two separate couples with their own babies. We are the four of us with our two babies.”
While they moved into a large house to accommodate their growing families, Brittany told ET that privacy is still an issue for them.
“We just moved into this great house. It is incredibly spacious, but all the space in the world has not taken away from the fact that we have to deal with these privacy issues,” said Brittany.
Additionally, Briana points out that the sisters, who like to look as identical as possible, sometimes have trouble finding their clothes in their new home. “Right now, the problem is really the bedrooms and the closets that have been a big problem in this house,” he said. “‘Do we want to wear this today?’ Yes! ‘OK, where is the other pair?’ “
