About this, Gino Castillo explains:
They are quite a large foundation, serving the medical needs of children with few resources. I found it quite interesting to offer what we can do best, which is to play music and take advantage of this concert that is from the Buena Vista Legacy Band.
Buena Vista Legacy Band is a group made up of 8 musicians from different places, such as Florida, Cuba and South Carolina, who perform songs from the Buena Vista Social Club.
We do the classics from the Buena Vista Social Club, because, in fact, part of the musicians played with the Buena Vista Social Club band and that makes it quite interesting. We are more than a tribute band, it is more of a continuation, explains musician Gino Castillo.
The presentation will last about an hour and a half and in Middle C Jazz all health protocols are followed, such as the use of masks, disinfectant gel in all places and social distancing.
