Easy cocktails to make at the Super Bowl or any weekend

This Sunday Super Bowl 2021 will take place and if you like cocktails, we have several that are very easy to prepare and that are perfect for this occasion or actually for any weekend.

These drinks will be ideal to accompany your favorite snack and play with the flavors while you enjoy the game and the halftime show.

A Heningway-style mojito

Without having to go to Cuba, we will tell you how to prepare a good mojito.

You will need to: 50 ml of rum, juice of half a lemon, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 30 ml of champagne, a little spearmint and ice, these last two ingredients to taste.

Steps: In a glass, place the peppermint, sugar and mash them. Add the ice and pour in the rest of the ingredients, starting with the rum, then the lemon juice and finally the champagne.

Stir slowly and garnish with a lemon wedge or a few mint leaves.

Banana smoothie

If you don’t drink alcohol, this is a good option and one that children can also enjoy.

You will need to: 1 ripe banana, 2 cups of pineapple juice, 2 cups of ginger ale, 1 cup of cold orange juice, 1 cup of cold lemonade, and 3 cups of water.

Steps: In a blender mix the banana with the water. After, serve the mixture in a bowl and add the pineapple juice, orange juice, lemonade and mix.

Store the mixture in the refrigerator for 4 hours, and after that, add the cups of ginger ale when serving to start enjoying the drink.

Cucumber Gin Tonic

You will need to: 50 ml of gin, 150 ml of tonic water, 2 cucumber slices and ice.

Steps: In a glass with ice, pour the gin, add the tonic water and mix gently.

Add the cucumber slices and enjoy.

Pink lemonade or pink lemonade

Although it seems common, this is a pretty fun drink and another of the non-alcoholic options, although of course, if you wanted, you could add the one of your preference.

You will need to: 4 to 6 lemons, 6 glasses of cold water, ice, 2 cups of red berries, half a cup of sugar, half a cup of water and lemon slices and the fruits to decorate.

Steps: Place the sugar, water, and whole fruit in a bowl and bring it to a simmer until the fruit melts.

Then, pass this mixture through a strainer and press with a spoon to extract all the juice.

Separately, squeeze the lemons and, in a large pitcher, place the juice and fruit mixture that you made previously, the ice and the water.

Stir well and decorate with lemon wedges and the berries of your choice. If desired, add sparkling water or tonic and sweetener to taste.

Margarita with mezcal

A more Mexican cocktail could not be missing and this one, for a change a bit, will be with mezcal.

You will need to: 1/2 cup of mezcal reposado, 3/4 cup of orange liqueur, 1/2 cup of lemon juice, 1 green lemon, cut into thin slices, 2 tablespoons of sugar, salt to frost and ice.

Steps: Take a quarter of a lemon and run it along the edges of the glasses or glasses to frost them with salt.

Then, in a blender mix the ice, the mezcal, the orange liqueur, the lemon juice and the sugar.
