Courteney Cox is a total Monica Geller. The 56-year-old actress took to Instagram on Thursday to show how she channels her love. Friends character in real life.
In the funny clip, Cox asks his followers to “tell me that you are a Monica without telling me that you are a Monica.” Cox played Monica in the sitcom from 1994 to 2004, portraying the beloved chef, fan of order and genius of the organization.
Cox goes first, opting to feature a drawer of neatly organized cookware, another full of labeled spices in matching containers, and a pantry with nothing out of place.
Cox’s similarities to Monic don’t end there, as the actress looks at the camera and exclaims, “I know!” after revealing his character tendencies. The phrase was one that Monica said frequently, and Cox made sure to add her personal style to it as she tried it out herself at the end of the clip.
“I’m the only one?” Cox questioned in the caption.
Whitney Cummings laughed at the video in the comments, while Diane Keaton responded with red heart emojis. Meanwhile, Debra Messing wrote that she was “jealous” of Cox’s organization, and Erin Foster agreed that the actress was a “classic Monica.”
Cox’s cute video came less than a week after she and the rest of the Friends The cast – David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow – wrapped up filming for the long-awaited HBO Max reunion.
Initially, the special was supposed to premiere with the release of HBO Max on May 27, 2020, but had to be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show’s official Instagram broke the news last week, sharing a shot of a sign that read, “Friends: The Reunion.”
“That is a wrapper!” said the caption. “Could we BE more excited !? Friends: the reunion reaches @hbomax. #reunionamigos “
