Due to a respiratory heart attack derived from Covid-19, Eduardo Moreno Laparade, cantinflas’s nephew, died.
According to reports, his death happened this Saturday around 3:30 p.m. after being hospitalized for a week as a result of the coronavirus.
Mexican actor Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo announced the death of Eduardo Moreno, cantinflas’s nephew, through his Twitter account:

Who was Eduardo Moreno Laparade, Cantinflas’s nephew?
Eduardo Moreno Laparade was the son of Eduardo Moreno Reyes, brother of Mario Moreno ‘Cantinflas’ and served as Cantinflas’ legal representative for more than 45 years.
For more than 20 years, Eduardo Moreno Laparade had a legal dispute with his cousin Mario Moreno Ivanova, son of Cantinflas, for the legal rights to the Mexican actor’s films.
Eduardo Moreno Laparade chaired the Mario E. Moreno Foundation, which was created in honor of his uncle in order to spread the life and work of Cantinflas, as well as continue with the actor’s social and humanitarian work.
