Brandi Redmond leaving? Real Housewives of Dallas? That’s what fans are thinking after the reality star’s latest post on Instagram.
Brandi, who has been part of RHOD From the first season of the show, I thanked fans for “being a part of my journey these last few years” along with a message about the end of things.
“I prayed that the baggage of mistakes, feeling rejected, used and unworthy is no longer tied to anyone’s soul. I am choosing to free myself and lean on Jesus and I pray that you will join me if you too have these desires,” he wrote Brandi, who welcomed her fourth child, Brilynn, on February 13. “We are worth happiness, grace, love, compassion and so much more. Stay strong and believe in yourself because God always believes in you and is with you. “
“I also want to thank you all for being a part of my journey these past years. I have loved sharing my life with you, but sometimes things come to an end,” he continued. “The best kind of ending is the happy ending and I choose happiness. I send you all my love and my prayers. ❤️”.
A source tells ET that Brandi has yet to make a decision about her future in RHOD Although an exit is possible, his post is likely just an announcement that he continues to walk away from social media after a brief comeback to announce the birth of his daughter, Brilynn.
Brandi has only posted sparingly since the show returned to air for season 5, as the first few (and sooner) episodes focus on the past of her racial insensitivity. The reality star made headlines last year, a video of her Asians mocking resurfaced online. According to the source, Brandi is choosing to focus on life at home with her new baby rather than the drama of the show.
Whether or not Brandi’s position marks her official departure from RHOD, It will appear for the remainder of Season 5, which wrapped filming in early fall. The reunion has yet to be filmed, and the cast changes usually come at the end of the season, rather than in the middle.
In an interview with ET earlier this month, partner RHOD Star Stephanie Hollman said she was surprised Brandi was returning for season 5.
“I was surprised that he came back this year at some points because he struggled with it. Like, ‘I’m coming back? I’m leaving?’ It’s kind of difficult, I think, for her to say, and she knew it would bring up a lot of things and it was a tough decision for her to come back, “Stephanie said.
“I don’t know if she’s always glad she did it, but I think she’s glad she looked him in the face and was at least able to apologize to the audience and the people she offended.”
