Saturday was a great day at the Lourd-Rydell house. Billie Lourd took to Instagram to celebrate the birthday of her fiance, Austen Rydell, and shared sweet new photos of her son, Kingston.
“❤️👨👩👦❤️ IS MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY OF THE YEAR – @avstenrydell’s BIRTHDAY !!!” Lourd wrote. “He’s the best best friend / the best parent / the best person to wake up with (even when we’ve only slept 1 hour) / the best adventure partner / the best human overall.”
“WOWWWW, I’M SO OBSESSED WITH HIM #sorry about hats #notreallytho #howelsecouldiexpressmyenthusiasum,” she continued. “#DILF #waitno #DIDF and as Frank Sinatra says #youmakemefeelsoyoung !!!”
Among the photos were a cute family photo of the couple holding Kingston, a snapshot of Billie’s pregnancy, and another of their baby napping on his father’s chest.
Lourd surprised fans last September when she announced the birth of her son. The news comes three months after Rydell announced their engagement, but the couple had not revealed that they were expecting.
“I have to keep it to myself,” Lourd told her stepfather, Bruce Bozzi, on Quarantined with Bruce in January. “And only my family knew about it and no one else knew about it.”
“Everyone was so shocked when we posted that little picture of her feet, and it became something that I shared with the people I loved the most, which was so amazing and made my pregnancy so magical and wonderful, that I wasn’t expecting. I was going to be, “he noted. “But it turned out to be the best experience. I was able to eat good food, hang out with the people I love, do Legos all the time. I took a hypnopartum class and loved being pregnant.”
Lourd also shared that she grew closer to Rydell during the pandemic, calling their time together “incredible.”
“We got so close and we got to know each other, even though we didn’t know each other well, but now we know each other better than anyone could ever know each other,” he said. “And he was so loving and amazing, he cooked for me and he massaged my feet. And he did these classes with me, like he did the breastfeeding class, he did the positive childbirth class. So he was with me every step of the way. “
“We became even closer friends, even better partners. And I think he set us up to be the best parents and he’s sitting with the baby right now,” she continued. “And he is, as you know, the best father in the world. And I think that’s partly because we have this experience together.”
