Beyoncé brings relief to those struggling with winter storms in Texas

Beyoncé is helping her home state of Texas.

The singer’s foundation, Bey good, and Adidas have partnered with Bread of Life of Houston to bring relief to those affected by the deadly winter storms in Texas and surrounding states.

Individuals in need of immediate financial assistance are requested to apply through Bread of Life Disaster Assistance Request Form. The disaster fund will provide up to $ 1,000 for all who are approved.

Unusually cold weather and harsh winter storms have left millions of people without electricity and, in some cases, without running water in their homes for days. On Thursday, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), which oversees the state’s power grid, said they had made “significant progress” in restoring power overnight and power was cut for fewer than 420,000 Texas customers.

“Visit @BreadoflifeH for more information on assistance. We send our prayers to those affected by the winter storm,” the BeyGOOD foundation tweeted.

Previous Real Housewives of New York star and avid philanthropist, Bethenny Frankel, is lending her help from strong foundation, which provides emergency assistance to people in crisis.

“Given the current humanitarian crisis in Texas, #BStrong is loading aid trucks to deliver to those affected by power outages, freezing temperatures, lack of contaminated water, death and homelessness. Thanks to our new transportation partner, @ thencsgroup, for making this effort possible, “wrote Frankel.
