Gwen Stefani channeled her inner modern Disney Princess to Disneyland for a pre-recorded performance this week.
Gwen Stefani looked like a modern White as snow after a performance at Disneyland on Thursday, November 18. The singer, 52, wore a snowy white lace collar dress as she cruised through the park, where she was on hand to perform Christmas and original songs for ABC’s pre-recorded The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, which airs on November 28.
The singer will perform the holiday classics “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and “Jingle Bells”. Hosted by Ariana DeBose and siblings Derek and Julianne Hough, the special will be broadcast from both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California. Other performers include Darren Criss, Norah Jones, Jimmie Allen, Kristin Chenoweth, and more.
Looming vacation will mark Gwen’s premiere with her husband Blake Shelton as husband and wife. They tied the knot at their Oklahoma property on July 3 with a TV host Carson Daly acting as officiant. In an interview with PEOPLE published on November 18, Blake said that Gwen’s wedding vows hit him hard.
The country star, 45, said his wife takes the role of writing her vows very seriously. “She took it very hard, took it to heart and talked about it all the time,” he said. “She was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m still working on it. “When she read his wishes to him, Blake said he was flabbergasted at how she made it personal.
“What struck me was that she talked about my [late] brother and my dad like she almost knew them, ”Blake said. “She didn’t give the impression that it was so, but that was how she spoke of them. She said she wished they were there and what kind of men she thinks they must have been.
He continued, “Dude, that hit me. Like, I couldn’t believe how hard that hit me. I felt like at this point I was kind of callused. guess I’m not because it absolutely killed me. It’s hard even to remember what else she said. I’ll never forget that feeling. For his wishes, Blake wrote to her new wife a song, “We Can Reach the Stars”.
