Elon Musk isn’t shying away from a report that he welcomed twins last year with one of his top executives. The business magnate fired off a series of tweets on Twitter on Thursday, confirming the news.
The 51-year-old SpaceX tweeted, among other thoughts, that he is “doing his best to help those in dire straits.” He also claimed before sending a message to his critics that “a crumbling birth rate is a major threat civilization has to face”, adding, “I hope you have big families and those who already do.” Congratulations to them!”
The series of social media updates comes after business Insider Musk and Shivon Zillis, directors of operations and special projects at Musk-owned Neuralink, reported Wednesday that they welcomed twins in November 2021.

Musk is now the father of nine children. He shares 18-year-old twins, Vivian and Griffin, as well as 16-year-old triplets, Kai, Saxon and Damien, with ex-wife Justin Musk. The couple, who married from 2000 to 2008, also welcomed Nevada in 2002 but died at just 10 weeks old from sudden infant death syndrome.
