Sean “Diddy” Combs is setting the record straight regarding his relationship with rapper Yung Miami. The 52-year-old appeared in the first episode of Miami REVOLT Podcast Show, karisha pleaseWhere he confirmed that the two are indeed dating.
At one point during the episode, Miami—born Carsha Brownlee and half of fan-favorite hip-hop duo City Girls—asks the president of REVOLT about their relationship status.
“I am alone,” replied Didi initially. “But I’m dating, I’m just taking my time with life.” When the 28-year-old reframed the question, asking the mega-producer exclusively to confirm their dating status, he said the two “date”.
“We’re dating. We have dates, we’re friends. We go to exotic places. We have a great time,” he shared.
The father of five later admitted that he was seeking romantic freedom following the loss of his late ex, Kim Porter, who died of lobar pneumonia in 2018. Diddy and Porter dated for 13 years from 1994 to 2007. They had three children together – teenage twin daughters Jesse James and D’Leela. Their son Christian is 24 years old.
“To be honest, after I lost Kim, lost Cassie, romantically I needed a time out. I just needed to be single and be independent,” he explained.
The Miami native questions the mogul what inspired him to start “f**king with a city girl” and asks him to tell her what he likes about her.
“I mean, ’cause you’re authentic,” Didi shared. “You are one of the most genuine people I have ever met and you are authentically yourself. You are a great mother and a great friend. We just have a great time.”
Diddy also revealed that he knows there is more to Miami than meets the eye, noting that he is different. “I get advice from Kairsha,” he said. “Karesha tells me” [things] Like, ‘Don’t stay in your head.’ You are just a good friend. Everyone who is your friend will tell you that you are a great friend.”
