David Bowie to be honored with a stone record on the Music Walk of Fame in London

The day after the presentation of the stone (Friday, September 16), Bowie’s new film, Moonage Daydream, directed by Brett Morgen, will be released exclusively in IMAX. It is described as a “full-length experimental cinematic odyssey” that “explores Bowie’s creative, musical and spiritual journey”.

In addition, a companion album to the film was announced last week, containing songs spanning the late musician’s career and including previously unreleased material, unique mixes created for Moonage Daydream and Bowie dialogue.

The digital edition will be released by ISO Records/Parlophone Records on September 16 and was brought forward this month by a new mix of ModernLove, the third single from Bowie’s 15th album, Let’s Dance from 1983.
