90 day fiancéDarcey and Stacey say their recent plastic surgery trip to Turkey was one of the best experiences they have ever had, calling it a “transformation.” ET spoke to the twins about season 2 of Darcey and Stacey, and they opened up about their “spiritual” journey.
Darcey and Stacey have been open about plastic surgery in the past, and in the trailer for season 2 of their hit TLC. 90 day fiancé spinoffs, they say they are “getting a twin transformation” which includes a breast reduction, a “Barbie nose”, a lip lift and new veneers.
“We wanted everything to rise in our bodies,” Darcey tells ET’s Melicia Johnson. “Everything is just up. We have a little lip lift, a little nose lift, a breast lift, you know, gripped at the waist. Everything is a little more refined. We feel lighter.”
Stacey adds: “We did a lot of research on the doctor and clinic we chose and we are very happy with the results … and the care we got. It was like a five star treatment. We have had surgery in Beverly Hills in the past, and Miami Also, but for us, this was different. And for us, the best experience. “
The sisters said they felt even closer after making the trip together and stressed that they took proper precautions during the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are the best versions of ourselves, that’s how I feel, but it starts from the inside out,” says Darcey. “And going there together, as twins, we got closer together, like, it was quite an experience. And I feel like we had the confirmation once we left Connecticut because we were getting all these incredible signals … we just felt very protected there, we felt the story, we feel, like, liberated, we feel reborn. And I would never take that situation or trip back. This was the best thing we’ve ever done for ourselves. We came back healthy. “
“It was also like a spiritual journey,” Stacey says. “Even the producers behind the scenes were saying, ‘Wow, now I understand when you were talking about manifesting and all this, twintuition. They saw it first hand.”
The two of them do not allow any internet criticism of their plastic surgery to discourage them.
“It’s better than hiding it,” Stacey notes. “We don’t mind sharing our experiences. Everyone has their own experience and their own journey, and for us, it’s a good thing.”
“You know what, we are hugging ourselves, loving ourselves from the inside out and that just radiates out to us,” adds Darcey. “For each his own. We love each other enough to be able to undertake that journey, that step and that risk, in a sense, to improve ourselves. It was not just for external transformation, it really was from within, and I think you have to have a certain kind of understanding that regardless of what can happen, what can’t happen, sometimes you have to take risks in life. But I feel like this was worth it all because the way we come together as sisters It meant the world to us, surgery or no surgery … But I know people are going to question it. ‘Why do they do that, don’t they love themselves?’ Yes, we love each other enough to do it. This is how we see it. “
As for what fans can expect from Darcey and Stacey Season 2, the twins said one word to describe the new season is “wow”, and that gave them goosebumps just thinking about it.
“I feel so free, I feel like I’ve risen above it,” Darcey says of how she feels after her trip to Turkey. “I’ve stayed strong. You’re going to see it all.”
