Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa got some support from Ant Anstead after the news of their baby boy. On Wednesday, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple’s comment sections were filled with congratulatory messages from fans and friends, but it was the message from Ant, the ex-husband of Tarek’s ex-wife, Christina Hall, that stood out.
“Many congratulations to you both! Thrilled to have all of you! ️ X,” the Celebrity IOU: Joyride The host wrote in Tarek’s comment section.
Ant and Christina were married between 2018-2021 and are parents to a 2-year-old son, Hudson. Christina and Tarek announced their separation in 2016 after seven years of marriage. They share two children – Taylor, 11, and Braden, 6.
Christina is also delighted with Tarek and Heather’s baby news. “Christina is happy for Tarek and Heather. As long as Tarek and he are co-parenting peacefully, she is satisfied,” a source told ET.
Tarek, 40, and Heather, 34, announced the “surprise” they’re expecting on their respective Instagram accounts. “Surprise!!! Baby El Moussa is coming in early 2023!!,” Tarek captioned the set photo from his and Heather Rae’s maternity shoot, which also featured their two children.
Heather shared the same pictures and captions on her account. The couple’s announcement came after the couple opened up about their IVF journey to ET in January. Heather and Tarek were clear about some of the fertility challenges they faced, as Heather had known since her 20s that she had a low egg count.
“I think as a woman when you hear it, it really affects you and you think, ‘Oh my god, what if I can never do that?’ So when we started dating, right at the beginning, I talked to her about freezing my eggs, just in case you know, even though we were both like, ‘No.’ I’m like, ‘I’ll just take it as an insurance policy. as I want to do,'” selling sunset Star explained to ET.
