Last year on December 18 and 19, the show Gracias Totals held two performances with a full house in the Campo Argentino de Polo, attended by 85 thousand people. But it is seen that they were not able to meet the demand and now they return “at the request of Argentine fans”.

The vocals put together by Charlie and Zeta include keyboardist Fabian Quintiero and guitarists Richard Coleman, Roly Ureta and Simon Boccio. And on both live and video screens they add guests such as Adrian Dargelos, Andrea Echeveri, Benito Cerrati, Chris Martin, Draco Rosa, Fernando Ruiz Diaz, Gustavo Santollalla, Juanes, Juliette Venegas, Mon Lafferte, Rubén Albarán and Wallace. Gustavo Cerati himself.

Before and after the pandemic

The Gracious Totals Tour, which may mean the last chance to enjoy Soda’s music live, was the first and very brief stage together, with Zeta and Charlie hand-in-hand on stage, beginning on February 29, 2020 in Colombia .

There, the show was appreciated by audiences mixed in age, but without any contradictions or questions. “No one wonders why this show is on, they only came to hear those immortal songs, composed by two of the three members of the group, who can still get together”, then of Clarins. Special Envoy.

“Soda Stereo – Gracious Totals is not Soda Stereo. This is a new show, of first level international rock, with great music played live by a formidable band, and with cutting-edge technology that makes those Those who are not there—either for a matter of distance or, as in the case of Cerrati, to go to another plane—say present in any case”, summarized the Chronicle.

In that first phase, there were shows in Peru and Mexico, but everything was disrupted by the pandemic and resumed only at the end of last year. In addition to Buenos Aires, they played in Miami, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Monterrey and the Dominican Republic.

They will play in Santiago de Chile on 3 May and Asuncion de Paraguay on 13 May before arriving at the Movistar Arena. For the latter it is planned to play in Panama on 2 June.

The commitment to care for the environment is not unlike the technological deployment required by a group like Soda Stereo at its shows around the world. The plan went like this for Soda Stereo-Gracious Totals, the first non-polluting tour by a Latin American artist.
