Popular actor of Telugu cinema Jay Prakash Reddy has passed away. Reddy, 74, died of a heart attack at his home in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on Tuesday, September 8. Some reports have even claimed that Reddy fell in the bathroom after suffering a heart attack.
Prakash Reddy went from teacher to actor
According to reports, Jay Prakash Reddy was a teacher and had a passion for acting from an early age. That’s why they used to play on stage in Guntur. His film was ‘Brahma Putrudu’. However, he did not have much success and moved to Guntur to work as a teacher.
Approximately a decade later he got a big break in ‘Premikchukandam Ra’. However, Balakrishna starrer ‘Samarsimha Reddy’ proved to be a turning point for his career. He created a distinct identity as a villain. His other films include ‘Narasimha Naidu’, ‘Anandam’, ‘Nizam’, ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’, ‘Chinna’, ‘Dharampuri’, ‘King’, ‘Kick’, ‘Bindas’, ‘Gabbar Singh’, ‘Legend’, ‘Bruce Lee’, ‘Nanu Raju Nanu Mantri’ and ‘Lovers’.

Junior NTR mourned the loss of the actor who entertained the audience with his overwhelming performance. Hope the departed soul finds peace.
