Camino will be celebrating with arts and culture this September 15th

The Camino organization is already preparing a special event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which will be centered on arts and culture on September 15th.

According to Camino, a nonprofit that has operated in the Charlotte area for 20 years, they hope to showcase the beauty of Latin American art and culture. YOU MAY BE INTERESTED: High Point University Announces These Fall 2022 Cultural Activities “We hope Hispanic Heritage Month begins tonight in a vibrant way and helps show how Camino is a true place of hope, health, and Opportunities for Latino immigrants are in Charlotte and inspire others to allow Camino to accompany them on their own journeys of hope,” said Paola Garcia, Public Relations Manager. What arts and culture activities will Camino have on September 15? More Interactive Digital Art Walk: Camino staff will take you on a tour of the campus Journey of Hope Mural: They will show phase 2 of this mural, phase 1 showed a 10,000 square foot painting depicting the Latino’s journey and phase 2 promises to continue this story Guatemalan Art Exhibition: Works of art by various Guatemalan artists will be exhibited.These pieces will be for sale f offered, with the proceeds going to artists living in that country. Food and Music: There will be authentic Latin American food and live music. Demonstration with data: The organization will publish the results of its assessment of the needs and strengths of the Latino community. It aims to show how Latinos influence the Mecklenburg County community. When and where is Camino’s Charlotte Arts and Culture Fair? The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. m and until 8:00 p.m. at 201 Stetson Dr. Charlotte, NC 28262.
