BTS lived it in Los Angeles.
The K-pop group arrived in color-coordinated Louis Vuitton looks at the 2021 American Music Awards on Sunday, where they told ET Cassie DiLaura all about their night with Lizzo at the weekend’s Harry Styles concert.
“It was fun, very fun,” said J-Hope, before Jungkook added that his shirt was drenched in sweat from all the dancing.
When asked if they would have the opportunity to speak to Lizzo about working on a song together, Jimin noted that it was so loud that they couldn’t really talk.
“We shared phone numbers,” added J-Hope, with RM agreeing that they are “so open” to working on a song together. “She’s so fire.”
Last week, Cardi told B ET that her 3-year-old daughter Kulture is a huge BTS fan. The seven singers couldn’t help but send a sweet message to the small culture.
“Culture, you know what’s going on!” said RM.
V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin and J-Hope are applying for three AMAs. They will also perform “My Universe” with Coldplay and “Butter”. Megan Thee Stallion was supposed to join the group for the remix but had to drop out at the last minute. That didn’t stop BTS from being in a good mood, as RM put it, “We’ve waited so, so long for this” over live performances.
“It’s like a dream,” added Suga.
“We actually dreamed of this dream so it’s crazy!” RM agreed. “We’re only here to have a good time. With the ARMYs, with real people, not with AIs!
In addition, ET also spoke to Why Don’t We on the red carpet, who said they were so “excited” by BTS’s performance. Check out the video below to hear what they said.
