Bryce Dallas Howard denounced that he received much less than Chris Pratt in Jurassic World

Pay parity has been a controversial topic in Hollywood for a few years. Many actresses have protested that their castmates often earn more than they do, without further logical explanation. “Everything that was published -he said- was very interesting and curious, because in reality they paid me much less than what they said, much less. You have to remember that I started negotiating the contract to Jurassic World in 2014 and it was a different world, so I was at a huge disadvantage. “I must say,” he said, “that Chris and I have talked a lot about it and whenever there has been an opportunity to change things that had not already been negotiated, like a video game or some attraction in a theme park, he has literally told me: ‘ You don’t have to do anything, because I’m going to do all the negotiation and in these new issues they’re going to pay us the same, Bryce'”.

The saga and its box office

Bryce Dallas Howard, 41, and Chris Pratt, 43, first joined forces in 2015 in the film Jurassic Worldwhich marked the reboot of the popular dinosaur franchise.

After the overwhelming success at the box office, they reunited again in 2018 with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and in 2022 with JurassicWorld. dominionthe third and final installment in the franchise.

Jurassic World It was released on June 10, 2015 in 60 countries and in its first weekend broke the historical record with 500 million dollars in earnings. As for Dominion, in the United States and Canada it is estimated that it ended up grossing 543 million dollars in 4,600 theaters. Adding the rest of the world, it grossed $900 million.
