He was admitted to MIOT Multispeciality Hospital, Chennai on 24 April due to a corona infection. He died at 3.00 am today due to complications related to corona and heart attack. KV Anand started his career as a photo journalist and later he became famous cinematographer P.V. C. Started helping Sri Ram. KV Anand made his name as a renowned cinematographer in a few years while doing cinematography for many big films of the South including Tamil. KV Anand then made his directorial debut in the 2005 film Kana Kanden.
KV for Best Cinematography in Malayalam Film ‘Thenmavin Combath’ Anand was also honored with the National Award. The film featured actor Mohanlal and actress Shobhana in the lead roles.
KV Anand, who made a name for himself by doing cinematography for all the big films of the south, also shot for two films directed by Sal Rajkumar Santoshi – ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ (2002) and ‘Khaki’ (2004). Both of these films have Ajay Devgan in the lead role & zwnj; Were in
