On Friday, both the 40-year-old and the trendK’s Instagram page shared a behind the scenes look at the iconic July cover shoot, featuring the singer’s latest single as the perfect soundtrack.
The video gives fans an inside look at the “vision of dazzling retro-futurism,” envisioned by Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful, photographer Rafael Pavarotti, and the superstar himself. The shoot references the ups and downs of club life from the mid-’80s to the millennium, co-styled by Marni Cenofonte, which includes “everything from Harris Reed headdresses to Schiaparelli haute couture.”
Beyoncé’s interview with Enoughful was a first look at what fans can expect from the singer’s long-awaited seventh studio album and her first solo album in six years, Renaissance.
Enninful shared that Beyoncé contributed to the long creative process for Pandemic. It gave her “more time to think and rethink every decision. Just how she likes it.”
“There’s new music coming out—an exciting abundance of it,” the singer told the editor.
Enninful describes the project as “music that lifts you up, music that transforms your mind across cultures and subcultures, our people past and present, music that will unite so many people on the dance floor, music that touches your soul.” is described as.
Enninful shared that the music’s “soaring vocals and fierce beats” took him “back to the clubs of my youth.”
“I’m a fan too. I’m so excited,” Tina Knowles-Lawson told ET about her daughter’s upcoming project. “I just posted recently that I really miss her singing, and I do. I’m just as excited as everyone else. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it.”

On Thursday, Beyoncé spoke to her followers on Instagram on Thursday about the inspiration behind her upcoming album, Renaissance, The singer shared the album’s cover art, which depicts herself wearing a silver bikini and sitting on top of a mirrored tiled horse – like a disco ball.
“Making this album gave me a place to dream and escape to the world during a scary time. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when something else was going on,” she captioned the photo . “My intention was to create a safe space, a place without judgment. A place to be free from perfectionism and over-thinking. A place to scream, to feel free, to feel free. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”
