As reported by Bad Bunny, Unprocessed brewing Company, has sold “seasonal beers” under the name “Cerveza San Benito”, where “San Benito” is a registered trademark of the artist.
This name was registered by the singer in August 2020 with whom he provides producer services, so the brewery could not use the name.
But also, the can uses an image very similar to that of the artist, including the signature rabbit, as well as lots of graphics they use to advertise it.
No agreement has yet been reached between the two parties and the litigation continues.
