Increase your fashion game! The stars of the different Real housewives Series are role models for style and fashion – although Andy Cohen believes that wasn’t always the case.
the See what happens live! Host and executive producer of the Real housewives Franchise recently spoke with Vanity fair, and jokingly noted how much the reality stars’ fashion sense has seemingly evolved since the flagship show started.
“At the beginning of Orange County“The fashion was just terrible,” Cohen, 53, told the publication in an interview published on Tuesday. The host stated that the eponymous housewives, in his eyes, at least initially, had no tendency towards glamor.
“If you look at the first few years of the reunions, Orange County, Atlanta and new York, they basically wore – I don’t even think what they would wear to a cocktail party, “recalled Cohen.” I think it was more like what you could wear to a PTA meeting. “
Cohen added, “Over time, the [reunion fashion] has really strengthened. “
“I think people loved seeing what they’re wearing now,” Cohen shared. “You should be ambitious and they are.”
With the Real housewives Shows that draw big audiences and get a lot of attention for the stars, Cohen said that fashion choice – especially for the reunion specials – now has more importance to the stars. “A reunion show dress actually means something at this point,” he said.
Cohen was accompanied by Project catwalk Presenter Christian Siriano, when the two of them were facing the upcoming crossover between the fashion competition series and the Real housewives. In the special episode, the remaining designer candidates for various housewives will work to come up with stunning reunion dresses.
Cohen – who serves as the visiting judge for the crossover – says housewives’ attention to fashion and style makes it a “logical challenge”.
“For the housewives to prepare for a reunion – it’s like their prom dress,” Cohen said.
The exciting crossover – with Shannon Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter from The real housewives of Orange County, Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger and Wendy Osefo of The real housewives of Potomac, as well as Luann de Lesseps and Leah McSweeney from The real housewives of New York City – will air on Bravo Thursday, January 6th.
