Amy Schumer had to cancel Saturday’s comedy set at Netflix – a joke festival – after testing positive for COVID-19. The 40-year-old comedian shared the news with his Instagram followers hours before he took the stage.
The comedian revealed this in a video posted on his Instagram Stories. “I’m sorry to say that I have to cancel my show in LA tonight,” she told the camera. “I am the first woman to get COVID. I tested positive for COVID-19 about an hour ago, so yes, please, I don’t know what to say, but at least my hair looks good. ,
After making the announcement, Schumer posted a video to her Instagram grid highlighting the situation.
“What should I watch,” she captioned the video. “I was the star of the drop out. I can’t take PaxLovid because I’m on Lexipro right? #covidpioneer,” he added.
“I think I’m going to post a little bit because I’m single, but really all I want to say is that Covid gave me this incredible Elizabeth Holmes voice,” Schumer told the camera. “Now I feel like I have COVID. Theranos. Theranos,” said the comedian, imitating the voice of the disgraced entrepreneur.
Schumer said she was glad she was away from home so that her husband, Chris Fischer, and their 3-year-old son, Jean, would not be exposed to the virus because of them.
